I am a multi-genre writer concentrating on teen fantasy and adult literary novels. I recently finished my latest novel, Good Hearts, set in a small Mississippi town during the summer of 1964. Reflecting on my own experiences during the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement and our current social issues, I felt compelled to tell the story of five college students who become teachers at a Freedom School. Good Hearts is currently on submission. I’d love to share a sneak peek with you!

I’ve always loved words and the power they hold. My high school English teacher once told me that to write a novel you need to ready avidly. So I did. My love of reading wonderfully crafted stories is what inspired me to write in multiple genres.
